Are Made in Myanmar goods still tax-free when imported into the USA, EU and Japan?
Due to the non-renewal of the GSP by the United States, there is currently no regime underwhich Burmese goods can enter the USA tax-free.
As Myanmar is still the recipient of EBA status (Everything-But-Arms), Burmese goods are able to enter Europe tax-free.
Likewise, Burmese goods can also enter Japan tax-free under their GSP legislation.
